When interviewing for a new job, you’ll likely be asked why you’re suited for the role. In their new interview series, Jobspeaker offers advice on how to craft the perfect response. Essentially, the idea is to match yourself to the role based on the responsibilities outlined in the job posting.

When answering this question, it’s important to show the hiring manager exactly how you can solve their problems. Carefully review the job description and pick out the top responsibilities required to do the job. Then match it to your job experience or training using a tea table.  

While preparing for the interview, thoroughly review your accomplishment-based resume and prepare a script with examples that tell the story of why you’re the best for the role.
